Folder Size shows you in your explorer the size of file folders.
Folder Size adds a new column to the Windows Explorer and displays the sizes of files and folders. Another service scans your hard disk and saves the results.

Folder size is a small free to download freeware application which is simple and easy to use.
The principle of folder size is simple, to indicate the size of folder when viewing content of your computer/network with in windows explorer. The program is more of an extension than a stand-alone program.
The program adds two additional tabs into explorer when viewing the content of my computer, a drive, or a network drive and you have the list showed as detailed, you will see the first being aptly named folder size, and the second number of files.
This program is very simple and does exactly what it claims to do there is really no frills about this program it uses absolutely no system resources other than that of the installation files. A nice work around to something Microsoft could have implemented.
Overall this is a really nice and simple program with absolutely nothing the user needs to configure you can just install and you have what you need from the program.
