GOOGLE EARTH 6 is an application from google which shows you a virtual globe and lets the user travel anywhere in the world and look at satellite imagery, maps, terrains, 3D buildings, street views and lots more. Google Earth is a very fun application for messing around with and is a brilliant and easy to use tool for learning about our planet.
Google Earth is one of the best free-ware programs available on the internet and I feel everyone should download, install it and have a play around just to see the massive capabilities of this application. Some of the features included are
Flight Simulator.
Google Sky.
Google Mars.
Google Moon.
Oceans (Underwater Terrain).
Inbuilt Web Page Viewer.
Tour Creation.
Business Search.
Historical Maps and Data.
3D Street View.
There is also a variety of extra add ons to enhance the program even further some of which we have on our website including Wikipedia, Geotagged flickr and Weather. If you are a business professional and want to use the program for a more serious agenda you can upgrade to Google Earth Pro for around 300 dollars per system per year and gain a lot more additional features.
The only not so good thing about this program is that it is going to take up a lot of your system's memory to run to its full capacity. Although you can use the options menu to customize the application to run on fewer resources if your computer is not handling the program very well.
