Trillian 5 has an elegant but simple look that fits in with the windows 7 style very well. Access to mail and social networks are all available at the top of the main panel with your contacts from the various networks you are connected to below. The standard theme looks really good in windows 7 but skins are available via links on the official website or from the deviant art website.
As like most instant messenger clients, Trillian 5 it has all the main features including basic audio and video chat, file transfers, group chats, tabbed chats and message history. You do not get all the extra features unless you upgrade to the pro version which is at a very reasonable price of 1 dollar a month. This will remove the adverts, store your chats on the cloud, meaning you can continue your chats from multiple locations including mobile devices and you will also gain priority support via email.
