Winrar 4.20 is a shareware 40 day trial and is a must have archive manager tool for beginners to advanced users. If you download anything from the internet you will find you often download files that are compressed to make the file smaller, and downloads faster. Well this is the tool that helps you succeed at extracting these files or creating these compressed files yourself.
Compared to other similar tools Winrar has a much better compression ratio meaning you can make your files smaller. Also this tool is one of the fastest for unzipping files and folders and it supports multiple formats including, 7RAR, ZIP, CAB, ARJ, LZH, ACE, TAR, GZip, UUE, ISO, BZIP2, Z and 7-Zip. Winrar has a very simple interface which makes it easy to use and advanced users can have a command line interface which can make using the tool extremely fast.
Things that were not so great were its slightly slower at compression than alternatives but its does compress more. Does not look very pretty but also you can download skins to make it a little more appealing to the eye. Its shareware for 40 days and afterwards you can buy a licence for around 35 Euros.
I would recommend this software to anyone that has a computer and downloads files and folders as its certain you will need a tool like this and this is by far the superior choice.
