AOL instant messenger v 7.5 lets you communicate with friends and family over the internet.

I found AOL instant messenger to be your standard chat program, the chat can be run in one of two logging in options, first you can log in with an AOL account or you can log in with your Facebook account.

I found the shire amount of adverts scattered around AOL Instant messenger a big reason not to use this program.

Even when you have a chat window open the adverts are there. This is just annoying and quickly forced me to look for another program.

If you can look pass the adverts which sadly for me they where just too many, then the program itself is not bad at all. The program works well with many in chat functions such as smilies, send and receive files, video chat and group chat.

There is the option to upgrade to the professional version but for me the price was just too much for the little upgrade you received there are better chat program out there for free.
