Dexpot will put 4 virtual desktops as default, each looks like your own desktop, and acts independently from the others.
When I first started to use Dexpot I thought Oh this could be fun, and it was in the beginning, I found when I started a new application on one of the virtual desktop it would replicate the whole of my main desktop.
Thinking I would be able to simple close the replicated applications, this was not the case it would also close the application on my main desktop. This became troublesome after a while, I had understood that each virtual desktop would run independently from the main desktop but this was not the case.
I also found that if you are running programs such as Opera web browser instead of opening a new instance of the software it simple open a new tab within your current web browser on the first desktop.
The software has potential and needs to be developed further to make it practical for everyday use.
