FeedDemon Descriere
Daca sunteti adeptul utilizarii fluxurilor de stiri in format RSS, Atom, etc. si nu doriti sa intrati pe un anumit site de fiecare data pentru a vedea ce mai este nou, atunci FeedDemon este soft-ul ideal.

Probabil ati observat ca peste 95% din site-urile actuale si-au integrat si fluxuri de stiri RSS, care de altfel sunt foarte utile. Interfata si utilizarea programului este una simpla, iar pentru cei pretentiosi ofera si elemente mai complexe.

Soft-ul este laudat pe site-urile de afara ca fiind cel mai bun si vine integrat cu mai multe fluxuri predefinite (pe care sincer le-am sters imediat ce l-am instalat ca nu ma interesau).
Cerinte minime de sistem: Windows 2000/XP/Vista si Internet Explorer 6.x.

FeedDemon este de departe cel mai bun client RSS de desktop , singura ameninţare la adresa supremaţiei acestuia venind din partea clienţilor online, care aveau până acum un singur avantaj major în faţa sa: gratuitatea. Acum este egalitate. FeedDemon poate fi instalat şi sincronizat pe mai multe calculatoare, neexistând riscul citirii de mai multe ori a aceloraşi subiecte

RSS Feed Reader for Windows that will help you to simplify the way you read the web
FeedDemon enables you to read RSS feeds from your desktop, so you can browse information from dozens - or hundreds - of web sites without having to visit them to find out what's new.

In FeedDemon, news items (articles) are displayed in newspapers for easy reading.

When you find a news item of interest, you can copy it to a clippings folder for future reference. Clippings provide a very simple way to store items from different feeds in one location, making them a great tool for researchers.

FeedDemon can also watch for items in RSS feeds which contain specific keywords, alerting you to stories of interest. For example, football fans could ask FeedDemon to watch for items about their favorite teams, or investors could watch for stories about companies in which they own stock.

Here are some key features of "FeedDemon":

Reading Feeds
· Newspaper Format: When you select a channel, FeedDemon's tabbed browser displays the channel's news items in a newspaper for easy reading. You can display a newspaper of news items for an entire folder or view one feed at a time.
· News Bins: Store news items in a central location and provide a handy way to collect items from different channels. If you find an interesting item that you might want to read again, just store it in a news bin for future reference. News Bins are synchronized through the NewsGator Online platform, so you can read these items from FeedDemon on other computers as well as other NewsGator readers.
· Synchronization: Read a post in FeedDemon and it is marked as read in other NewsGator readers.
· Shared Experience: See what news is popular with other NewsGator users and find out who is linking to the news you’re reading.
· Video: Watch embedded video right within the newspaper view.
· Panic Button: Ever gone on vacation and gotten a little behind on your reading? The Panic Button solves this and many other problems by quickly marking all older items read.

Finding Feeds
· Watches: Look for keywords in news items as they're downloaded. After you create a watch, it examines every incoming news item whenever any channel is updated.
· News Comes To You: Subscribe to feeds from all over the web or choose some of the dozens of default feeds.
· Search: Search outside of FeedDemon's subscriptions by selecting a feed search engine, then enter your keyword, and FeedDemon will subscribe to a dynamic channel containing the search results for that keyword.

· Podcasts: Powerful podcasting tools enable you to download audio files and automatically copy them to your iPod or other media player. The bundled FeedStation utility enables you to schedule your downloads so they happen overnight while you're asleep. When you wake up, you'll find new audio waiting on your media player of choice.
