I have been using daemon tool for many years now and over the years it has grown from a simple CD emulator to a must have on my system when it comes to managing my CD/DVD images.
Daemon tool removes the need to have CD/DVD to hand when you wish to use them. If like me you have software you regularly use, but hate that you need to have piles of CD/DVD stacked up cluttering your desk /workstation.
Daemon tool lets you create backups and store the content of a CD/DVD on your hard drive, when daemon tool was first released hard drive space was an issue but this is a thing of the past with the massive storage space of today’s hard drive like me you can store hundreds of images.
This is where daemon tool shines once more with the built in manager you only ever need to add the image once. With the professional version of daemon tool you are able to create up to 36 virtual drives this makes daemon tool professional worth the upgrade if you work with a large number of CD/DVDS.
Overall this is one of the most reliable programs on the market and a must have if you ever work with CD/DVD images.
